MISSION STATEMENT

To inspire inner-city youth to becoming confident, successful moral future leaders through life skills and mentoring relationships.

ABOUT US

Believers Community Outreach Center (BCOC) was founded to empower inner city youth in Pontiac, MI.  It is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization committed to equipping and empowering students through life skills curriculum and mentorship.

The goal of our program is to increase the participants level of self-esteem, self-awareness and self confidence, designed to foster and create appropriate behavior, and increase entrance into college/technical schools.

Research report findings which suggest that many students lose basic reading, writing and math skills during the summer months.  Beyond the Classroom Tutoring Program is designed to develop and or sustain language, writing, reading comprehension, socializing, creativity, and performing arts. BCOC endeavors to coordinate student assisted services that will build and increase moral character and academic achievement in today's youth.

BCOC provides the tools and resources necessary for boys and girls to become dynamic Christian leaders, compassionate public servants and inspired innovators, being mentored by a stellar group of accomplished professional men and women.

BCOC is funded through the generosity of individuals, businesses, churches and other organizations, who desire to make a difference in the lives of young people. Sponsors find BCOC to be accountable, efficient and effective with the use of funds invested for its projects. All gifts given to Believers Community Outreach are tax deductible as allowed by law.
